Is Pokémon Gen 5 hard? When looking at Pokémon as just another series of RPGs, Generation V is the best of the bunch. Great storytelling, good party variety, and by far the best difficulty curve in the series. On their own, Black/White and Black 2/White 2 offer a healthy challenge, but Generation V actually features easy and hard modes.
