Preferred control scheme KB/M Vs Gamepad

Hello all, How are you all doing? Which do you prefer to use for controls whilst gaming between KB/m versus using gamepad & why? For me this depends on style & genre of game that I am playing. For example I prefer using keyboard/mouse for fps (first person shooter) & gamepad for racing games. Over last few months I have been changing to KB/M as I am doing majority of gaming on PC. I have found that muscle memory is slowly getting better on keyboard.
