Did Bane break Batman’s back? His victory took place in the Knightfall arc of DC Comics’ Batman, published back in 1993. The culmination of a long-term plan on Bane’s part to weaken Batman both mentally and physically, the hulking Bane takes an exhausted and beaten Batman, raises him over his head, and breaks his spine over one knee.
How does Batman stop Bane?
In the end, Bruce’s anger proves stronger than Bane’s will. After nearly giving into his temptation to kill Bane, Batman instead lifts his opponent high and prepares to break Bane’s back. But before Batman can finish the job, his father intervenes. Flashpoint’s Thomas Wayne arrives and shoots both Bruce and Bane.
Who beats Bane?
Not only was Batman deflecting all his punches, he did so all while being in worse physical shape than him. One well-placed strike broke a part of Bane’s mask, resulting in him struggling to breath and trying to piece it together while punching.
