Canon. Both Silver and Blaze are best friends, who they are described to have a brother-sister relationship in Sonic the Hedgehog exclusively. Silver is also emotionally dependent upon Blaze; he becomes very insecure when alone, and it is usually Blaze who helps Silver back on his feet.
