DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO – My concerns with the DLC

Hey all,

I am deciding which edition I should get of the game: standard, deluxe, ultimate.

I am open to all editions, I just have concerns because of how Xenoverse 2 DLC got handled. First of all, I'm curious if anyone knows if there will be day one dlc? Second, do we know if the DLC is just additional characters or will there be additional campaign and single player content that comes with it?

The reality is that I am not aware of what additional character the DLC will provide, if anyone knows, please tell me, because I'm not sure if I even care so much about them or who they are. Xenoverse just had so many characters I could careless about.

My other concern is this inclusion in upgraded editions: "Summon Shenron". I know this allows you to unlock characters early and so on, and I am concerned this will ruin the game. I have bought game editions that give you the best equipment/content early on, and it completely ruins the sense of progression of the game, and will cause you to play the entire game with the one character, and unlocks and progression become meaningless, so that's my concern with this, that I'm paying an extra $30 to ruin the progression and sense of unlock/achievement.

What is really the appeal to unlocking additional characters in this game? is it for PVP/multiplayer? So you have more/better chacracters to chose from and climb some sort of ladder or is it single player content mostly?

Anything you can share about the game, how it will work and how it will differ from Xenovers and Kakarot, would be appreciated.

Anyway, what edition are you getting and why? (if you're going to get the game)
