Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 – 22 Marvel Easter Eggs On The Island

Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 - 22 Marvel Easter Eggs On The Island

Fortnite’s latest season has finally dropped. Given that Chapter 5 Season 4 is centered around Marvel comics, it’s only natural that various Easter eggs are scattered around the island.

Even though Season 4 is Marvel-themed, this isn’t the first time Epic has teamed up with multimedia giant. Last season featured Magneto from the X-Men as an unlockable skin via the battle pass, and of course, Chapter 2 of Season 4 was built around the Avengers stopping Galactus from eating their world. That’s not to mention all of the Marvel-themed skins that can be bought from the item shop.

With Galactus out of the picture, another fan-favorite villain has stepped into the limelight: Victor Von Doom. For those unaware of Doom, he often serves as the main villain for the Fantastic Four and has, on several occasions, been the reason why worlds have ended or needed saving in the comics.

Doom has proven himself a major threat time and time again, and Fortnite’s latest season is no different. Players can find remnants of fallen heroes and villains on display throughout the island. Some of these include members of the Fantastic Four being used as furniture, body parts being used to keep areas cozy, and more. Here’s all the Marvel Easter eggs you can find in Fortnite right now.

Dark Arts

At first, this may look like simple dark magic. But it’s important to mention that Doom is a powerful sorcerer. This is a reference to some of the sources of his power. This can be found in the dark tower right next to Castle Doom.

Reed Richards photo

As previously mentioned, Doom is one of the main villains in the Fantastic Four, mainly because of his hatred towards their leader, Reed. This dartboard using Reed’s face as a target can be found in the Castle Doom landing spot, in the building left of the statue in the middle.

Johnny Storm’s heart

This one is a bit grimmer because of the implications behind it. But you can find a flaming heart in the fireplace in the same building as the Reed Richards photo. For those unaware, Johnny Storm’s power consists of him catching fire. This leaves players to assume that Doom killed him and is using his heart to cozy up his room.

Doom and his bear

At first glance, this may seem like just a cool photo of Doom riding a bear. But it is actually a reference to Doctor Doom 2020 issue #7, in which he returns to Latveria and says the iconic line, “I have returned.” This painting can also be found in various locations around Castle Doom.

Doom and Magneto

This is another photo found in the same room as the picture above. Although it doesn’t reference much, it promotes the narrative that this version of Doom has defeated Magento from last season. This painting can be found in various locations around Castle Doom.

Reed Richards as a ball

This one is both disrespectful and funny at the same time because it showcases how much Doom hates Richards. In this case, you can see that Richards is alive but folded into a ball with no way of escaping. You can find the building closest to where the Doom Statue is pointing in a hallway underneath the stairs.

Magneto’s helmet

If you go to the room on the east side of Castle Doom, you can find Magneto’s helmet on display in the center of the room. Something worth pointing out is that this technically isn’t Magneto. The helmet Doom has on display belongs to another Marvel character named Xorn, who impersonated Magento briefly in the comics.

Silver Surfer’s board

You can find what’s left of the Silver Surfer’s board in the same room as Magneto’s helmet. It’s actually directly across from it. As you may notice, it’s broken, hinting that Doom has defeated him, too. Is there anyone Doom hasn’t already destroyed?

Doom painting

You can find another Doom painting in the same room as the Silver Surfer board and Magneto’s helmet. The photo shows various items, such as Thor’s hammer, Iron Man’s mask, and much more.

Thanos’ helmet

If you go to the room closest to where the Doom Statue is pointing on the stairway leading to the second floor, you can find Thanos’ helmet on display. Although this may be a bit of a reach, it could be a reference to the storyline of the 2015-2016 Secret Wars in which Doom kills Thanos.

Toot Toot

If you go to the main building in Castle Doom and walk to the very top, you’ll find the iconic Sea Horn that Doom used to toot his heart out back in the Silver Age of comics.

Moon Knight’s blade

Before entering the throne room in Castle Doom, you can find a blade that belongs to Moon Knight right underneath the staircase.

Doombot

This one may be more obvious than the others. But the boss that you fight in Castle Doom isn’t actually Doom. It’s actually a Doombot. He famously uses them often in the comics to do his work for him.

The Thing’s Final(?) resting place

If you look at the chair that Doombot is sitting on in his castle, you’ll quickly realize that it is made out of The Thing, one of the members of the Fantastic Four. Leaving players to assume that Doom killed The Thing.

Eye of Agamotto

If you go to the second floor on the left-hand side of the throne room in Castle Doom, you’ll find the Eye of Agamotto on display. What’s notable about this item is that it famously belongs to Doctor Strange.

Toot Toot 2: Electric Tootaloo

If you look directly to the right of where the Eye of Agamotto is in Castle Doom, you’ll find a picture of Doom riding a creature. This moment depicts the direct aftermath of him tooting the horn that can be found upstairs.

Sue Storm held captive

Sue Storm is also in the throne room and can be found directly across from the Eye of Agamotto. She’s another member of the Fantastic Four. If you’re wondering why you can’t see her, her power allows her to turn invisible. So you’ll just have to believe that Doom captured her, too.

Ultron’s head

One of the last things you can find in the throne room at Castle Doom is the head of Ultron. To see his head, enter the room from the main entrance and make a right. When you reach the pillars, follow the path down, and you’ll eventually see his head on display next to some windows.

Galactus’ Helmet

This is another obvious one. But if you look out in the ocean near The Underworld and Spawn Island, you’ll see Galactus’ Helmet from Chapter 2, Season 4, sticking out in the water. How it has reappeared there, we’re not so sure. It could be a lingering mystery throughout this season.

Secret Iron Man room

In Doomstadt, a secret Iron Man room is hidden in one of the houses. To find the room, you’ll need to enter the house on the northmost side of the area next to the two red trees. Once inside, you’ll need to break the bookshelves in the living room. This will expose a stairway leading to the secret Iron Man room.

S.H.I.E.L.D.

This is another one that’s not hidden all that well. If you go to The Raft, you’ll find S.H.I.E.L.D. Logos scattered around the prison. This organization helps run the Avengers, so it may hint at what’s to come throughout the season.

Fallen Four

By this point, it’s clear that Doom has defeated the Fantastic Four. The team logo south of Doomstradt is further proof of that. Rest in peace, F4, though let’s admit that you’ll probably be back because no one really dies in this storyline, especially not before Epic has sold them as character skins.
