There’s a lot I want to change in my life. Change for the better.

So where do I start?

I like to belong. Belong to a community. To a hobby. To an indulgence. And yes, I’m referring to gaming, For a long time now, I’ve floated between ecosystems; from xbox to switch to playstation to pc and back and forth. I’ve played some memorable titles on there no doubt. For instance, the titles most memorable during my xbox days were Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassins Creed Odyssey, Dishonored and Shadow of Mordor. My deepest indulgence on the Switch was Breath of the Wild while Elden Ring was the first PC new gen I completed start to finish. Red Dead Redemption II was the reason I splurged thousands of dollars so I could enjoy the experience on a new gen pc. Or should I say pc’s. I’ve sold the desktop pc now but still have the gaming laptop. And now recently I’ve picked up the MacBook Pro and have set my sights on games on here.

The thing is; There’s too many games. Too many is really an understatement. I’m a completionist by nature. It’s kinda in my DNA. If I play a game, I want to explore every nook and cranny and pick up every collectible possible. I’ve started to come to terms with not completing everything in a game now. But it’s still uncomfortable.

What am I playing now? It’s Assassins Creed Valhalla on the Steam Deck. Outlanders 2 and No Man’s Sky on the Mac. I think I enjoy the experience on the MacBook much more so am considering making progress on the games I’m playing on here.

Thanks for reading. Just thought I’d share some of my thoughts.
