Download the Nintendo Switch Online App for iOS or Android.
Use the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Game-Specific Service, called NookLink.
Select Custom Designs to scan QR codes of custom designs and patterns created in New Leaf or Happy Home Designer.
Scan and download/save them via NookLink.

How do you turn a picture into a pattern in Animal Crossing?
- Step 1: Find your image file. Obtain your image file.
- Step 2: Crop the image into smaller, square pieces.
- Step 3: Convert the image pieces into patterns.
- Step 4: Scan the QR code.
- Step 5: Download the pieces to Animal Crossing.
- Step 6: Arrange the pieces in your house.
Can you have more than 50 custom designs Animal Crossing?
