What do allays drop when killed?
If killed, they drop everything they’re holding. Note blocks, when played, cause nearby Allays to come over and dance.
Will allays Despawn?
Allays can despawn after being given an item if they haven’t picked up any items yet.
Why is allay not dancing?
Per Mojang’s latest patch notes: When an Allay hears a Jukebox playing, it will do a dance animation. If the Jukebox stops playing, or if the Allay gets too far away from the Jukebox, it will stop dancing.
How do you duplicate allays?
Here’s what you need to do – get a jukebox and put on some sweet tunes. Bring an allay close to it and wait for it start dancing and twirling around. Take a minute and appreciate the pure joy that this brings to the Overworld. Then, give the allay an amethyst shard.
How do you make an allay drop an item?
To give an Allay an item, select it from your inventory/ quickbar and then right-click on PC or press L2/ LT/ L consoles to give it to them. The Allay will then follow the player around from up to 64 blocks away and will search for more of the item you’ve given it up to 32 blocks away from the player.
