Will not connect to Xbox servers?
Unplug the network cable from the back of your console. Inspect the cable’s connector and the Xbox console’s socket to make sure that they are clean and free of debris. Plug it back in, making sure it clicks into place. Follow the network cable to your router, gateway, or modem and unplug it.
What servers use Xbox?
Most Xbox Live content is routed through Microsoft’s Xbox Live servers. For the Xbox Live launch in 2002, Microsoft installed massive arrays of servers in four locations in the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Are the original Xbox servers still up?
It’s been just over ten years since the Xbox Live servers for the original Xbox were shut down, but a new replacement for the service is currently in private development. It’s called Insignia, and will reportedly allow original Xbox owners to play games online without any modifications or patches to software.
