Did they use tracer rounds in Vietnam?
I’ve seen a documentary where they fought in Vietnam at night and both sides used tracer bullets (every 5 round in a Maschine gun according to them). On impact there wasn’t really much to see and they seemed to show your position better than the enemies you’re trying to hit.
