Halo 2, for me, remains the pinnacle of the Halo franchise on so many levels, but most certainly I can assuredly say that it is the greatest and most epic space opera ever created. The original Halo trilogy is simply the greatest trilogy of anything ever made, even rivalling Lord of the Rings, in my humble opinion.
