Is PS Now still free? If you have yet to experience PS Now, now is the time to do so. Since 7th April 2021, Sony have been providing a 7-day free trial period to play as many games as you want. This means that you can access hundreds of games – dating all the way back to the days of the PS2 and any latest additions from this month.
Is PS Now ending?
Sony officially announced its plans to discontinue the PlayStation Now service and merge it into the Tier 3 PlayStation Plus subscription plans, which would be available at launch later in 2022.
What does PlayStation Now do?
PlayStation Now was a digital game-streaming service from Sony, which has now been replaced by a revamped PS Plus. Simply put, you’d pay Sony a monthly subscription fee, which means you can access a Netflix-style library of over 800 titles.
How much does PlayStation Now cost?
Current subscribers to PS Now saw their subscriptions automatically convert to the Premium tier when the new PS Plus went into effect. Premium also has time-limited game trials that let you play the game for two hours before deciding to buy it. The Premium tier costs $18 a month or $120 per year.
