Mic working in discord but wont work in games

okay so my mic works just fine in shit like "discord" "roblox" "vrchat" but wont work in games like "ow2" "phasmaphobia" "scp" my snowball is said as my default mic and default communication device. ow2 lets me hear my party for like 2 seconds but my mic is greyed out and then it kicks me saying to check my audio devices or network setup. ive watched like 15 different yt videos idk what ik doing wrong dawg 😭
