Why Game Freak stopped mega evolution? The first possibility could be that simply, GF didn’t enjoy Megas that much. Since they are supposed to be an upgrade to an existing monster, they can be quite troublesome to design, exemplified by our poor boy Flygon that couldn’t get one because they had no idea what to do with it.
